About
The CPA behind this practice.
I've spent my career in finance and accounting roles across higher education, professional associations, and nonprofit organizations — at institutions including Johns Hopkins University, Ohio State's Fisher College of Business, and a statewide professional association where I currently serve as Controller and Senior Director of Business Operations.
I started preparing taxes professionally in 2019 and launched my own practice because I wanted to offer the kind of service I'd want myself: transparent, expert, and without unnecessary upselling. My specialty is complexity — multi-state returns, nonprofit compliance, business entities, and the situations that don't fit neatly into a software wizard.
I hold a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University, a master's degree in accounting from The Ohio State University, and am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio.
My Commitments
I will always provide as much information up front as I can, especially about pricing. Cost is often the deciding factor when evaluating services, and I do not want to waste your time or mine.
I will never try to sell you a product or service I would not buy if I were in your position. I want to have a collaborative, ongoing relationship with my clients, so it is in your interest and mine to sell you what you need — no more, no less.
I will never sell you to any third party. I do not make money from any third party, and I will not gather your information or sell you a product on behalf of anyone else.
