Meet Kyle

picture of Kyle

I have spent my career in various areas of finance and accounting, including financial reporting in higher education and not-for-profit organizations, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and consulting. My favorite thing about working in accounting and finance is solving problems. I enjoy helping my tax clients get the best refund or lowest tax due. I enjoy helping small business and not-for-profit clients troubleshoot and resolve issues with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.

I attended Bowling Green State University for my bachelor's in accounting and The Ohio State University for my master's in accounting. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Ohio.

My commitment to transparency

I spent years preparing taxes for family and friends before deciding in 2019 to start preparing taxes professionally. I worked for two years for a large tax firm before deciding to set out on my own. Here is what I have learned and my commitments to my clients.

Give relevant information up front

I will always provide as much information up front as I can, especially about pricing.
Cost is often the deciding factor when evaluating services, and I do not want to waste your time or mine.

Only sell what is needed

I will never try to sell you a product or service I would not buy if I were in your position.
I want to have a collaborative, ongoing relationship with my clients, so it is in your interest and mine to sell you what you need - no more, no less.

My only client is you

I will never "sell" you to any third party.
I do not make money from any third party, and I will not gather your information or sell you a product on behalf of anyone else.
